OUR BACKGROUND STORY
The Houston Design Collaborative was imagined by four Houstonian women who wanted to bring together real estate, design and construction / fabrication professionals and interested residents to answer the question "who/what/how do we build our city?" Our programming and events aim to respond to these questions and highlight how our community is developing, regenerating and sustaining itself.
Organization Vision
Through our events and programs, Houston Design Collaborative is working to educate Houston residents about the built environment in our city, explore emerging strategies in the design and construction industry, highlight sustainability and resilience in our region, and highlight building innovations and projects of interest. Beyond educational events and project tours, the future is bright and will grow to include civic forums, project tours, networking & social events, exhibitions, online newsletter, and travel opportunities.
